Fayette County Sheriff Reports Recent Arrests

An Oelwein man faces charges after allegedly causing a disturbance in Clermont.

The Fayette County Sheriff was called out at about 3am Sunday (Oct. 8) on the report of a man causing a disturbance at the Turkey River Saloon. 40 year old Jeramy Warren was taken into custody on a charge of Public Intoxication 2nd Offense.

A Lansing man has been taken into custody on an outstanding United States District Court warrant. The Fayette County Sheriff arrested 30 year old Kenneth Haag on a warrant for Violation of Supervised Release. The original charge was Making Threatening Communications. Haag was held in the Fayette County jail until an appearance in Federal Court.

Last Thursday afternoon, the sheriff was called to a disturbance in the 900 block of Fairfield Street in Arlington. 31 year old Holley Robbins of Arlington was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication.

And 30 year old Elizabeth Schmidke of Fayette turned herself in at the Fayette County jail, on a Fayette County warrant for Failure to Appear. The original charge was Not Having a Valid Drivers' License. She was released after posting bond.
