Fayette County Sheriff Makes Arrests on Warrants

An Independence woman has been arrested on a Fayette County warrant for a Probation Violation.

31 year old Ashley Kern was taken into custody on Wednesday (May 1st) shortly after 2am. She was held without bond in the Fayette County jail in West Union.

A Postville man was taken into custody Tuesday on an outstanding Fayette County warrant. 45 year old Jason Hallock was wanted for a violation of the sex offender registry, first offense. Hallock was held on $5,000 bond.

The Fayette County Sheriff arrested an Independence woman Tuesday on an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear. 40 year old Megan Larkin had originally been charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Larkin was held in the Fayette County jail on $300 cash or surety bond.

And the sheriff was called to Prairie View Residential Facility near Fayette on the report of a resident who was out of control. 28 year old Anna Jordan was charged with assault for attacking staff members. Jordan was held pending her initial appearance before a magistrate.
