Fayette County Businesses Pass Tobacco Sting

The Fayette County Sheriff conducted a tobacco sting operation last week, and all businesses that were checked, passed the test.

On Friday (May 8) the sheriff conducted compliance checks at retail businesses throughout Fayette County.

A minor, who was under the direct supervision of a deputy, entered the establishments with the attempt to buy tobacco products.

All of the retail businesses that were checked in Fayette County, were compliant and did not sell to the juvenile.
