Fayette County Arrest, and an Accident

A Waucoma man has been taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant.

At about 1am Thursday (Aug. 15), a Fayette County deputy arrested 24 year old Lucas Mack on a Probation Violation warrant from Polk County. The original charge was Operating Without the Owners' Consent. There was no bond, and Mack was taken to the Fayette County jail, where he was held until his transfer to Polk County.

A Maynard woman has been charged with causing a traffic accident. The Fayette County Sheriff reports that at about 12:30pm Friday, Aug. 9th, a pickup driven by 22 year old Alannah Guenther was driving north, when the truck left the road and struck a utility pole, at the intersection of Adams and 1st Street South in Maynard. Guenther was not injured, but she was charged with Failure to Maintain Control. Her 2008 Chevy Silverado had $3,500 in damage.
