Fayette Co. Accident, & Driving Arrest

The Fayette County Sheriff reports that a Volga motorist was able to walk away from an accident with a deer.
It happened shortly after 5:30am Wednesday, July 27, on Acorn Road, about 3 miles east of Wadena.
A vehicle driven by 55 year old Scott McLain was southbound, when he struck a deer that was in the traveled portion of the road.
No one was injured, but there was $1500 in damage.

An Oelwein man was been arrested for a driving infraction.
On Wednesday, while on patrol, a Fayette County deputy spotted a driver pulling into the Casey's parking lot in Oelwein, who was known to have a suspended license.
41 year old Michael Miller was taken into custody and charged with driving while suspended. He was held until his initial court appearance.
