WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — A 6-year-old girl has been taken to a hospital after falling from a second-floor window at a Waterloo home.

Officers and paramedics were sent to the house around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. Willow Wilson was taken to Allen Hospital, and was later transferred to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where she was listed in stable condition Wednesday morning.

Officials are investigating how the girl's fall occurred. Police say it appears to be an accident, and that no foul play is suspected.

Police say the girl and her 12-year-old brother were home alone when the girl fell from a second-story room. Her brother later found her on the ground outside.
