Fairbank Motorist Cited in Accident

A Fairbank woman is being charged with causing a weekend accident in rural Fayette County.

Shortly after 3am Sunday, authorities were notified of a one-vehicle accident on "W" Avenue, about 4 miles north of Westgate.

The Fayette County deputy determined that the driver of a car, 23 year old Hannah Bergman, lost control of the vehicle and drove into the ditch.

No injuries were reported.

Bergman was charged with failure to maintain control and possession of an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
