An inmate at an area residential facility is back in custody, after he escaped and was found throwing rocks.


The Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a report at about 6:30pm Saturday (April 13), that an inmate from Prairie View Residential Facility near Fayette, had walked away from the facility, and was apparently out in the road, throwing rocks and making threats.

The inmate, identified as 25 year old Benjamin Wilson, was taken into custody and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Wilson was taken to the Fayette County jail in West Union, and held until his initial court appearance.
