Elgin Motorist is Arrested for a License Infraction

An area man has been arrested by the Fayette County sheriff on a driving infraction.

Last Friday (Feb. 16), a Fayette County deputy spotted 51 year old Mark Franzen of Elgin, driving a vehicle on "F" Avenue, near Elgin.

The deputy apparently knew that Franzen had a revoked license. He was pulled over and arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Driver's License.

Franzen was then taken to the Fayette County jail in West Union.
