Elgin Man Jailed on Drug Charges and Warrant

A Fayette County man, wanted on a warrant for a parole violation, has also been arrested on illegal drug charges.

On Saturday (Jan. 11), the Fayette County sheriff took 32 year old Michael McAllen of Elgin into custody. McAllen was wanted for a valid Fayette County arrest warrant for a Parole Violation.

During the arrest, McAllen was also charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance-3rd Offense, and Possession of Drug paraphernalia.

McAllen was being held in the Fayette County jail in West Union, on $10,000 cash bond.
