It's been a crazy year. COVID-19 has dominated headlines since early March. One story you may have missed, or forgotten all together is that Peeps, those sugary-marshmallow masterpieces vanished completely from store shelves. KCCR even did a story that mentioned last year Peeps and its sister brands Mike and Ike and Hot Tamales all had to suspend production due to the pandemic.

That bad news meant that we didn’t get any of the fun Peep options for Halloween and Christmas. Now some good news: Peeps tweeted last month that production was back in action, and now they have even confirmed that the marshmallow treat will return to store shelves for Easter 2021. Easter this year is April 4, by the way.

Aside from the marshmallow Peeps, which aren't everyone's cup of team, other Peeps options are also coming back. These include Kellogg’s Peeps Cereal, Peeps Pez and Peeps Lofthouse Cookies.
