Oelwein Police are investigating some early morning vandalism.

Shortly after midnight today (Monday, July 18), authorities received a report of some criminal mischief in the 300 block of West Charles Street. There was no other information released.

An Oelwein man, 29 year old Mark Louch Jr., was pulled over just before 1am today (Monday) in the 100 block of West Charles. He was cited for driving while his license is suspended.

An Oelwein man was arrested Sunday (July 17) afternoon on two Bremer County warrants. 60 year old Steve Euans was taken into custoday for failure to appear in court on charges of driving while his license is barred, and interference with official acts. Euans was arrested after an incident in the 400 block of 13th Avenue NW.

An area juvenile faces charges after crashing a pickup into a house. This incident happened at about 10:30pm Sunday, in the 100 block of 1st Avenue NW. No one was injured, but the driver was cited for failure to maintain control, failure to prove security against liability, and failure to have a valid license.

Late Friday night (July 15) Oelwein police attempted to serve a Buchanan County Sheriff's arrest warrant in the 10 block of 6th Avenue NE. There, they arrested 19 year old Riley Fritz of Oelwein for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.

And also on Friday, officers issued a citation to 25 year old Ann Kisner for failure to abate, per order, for a property in the 200 block of 5th Avenue NE.
