Dunkerton Woman and Oelwein Man Arrested in Oelwein

Oelwein police have arrested a Dunkerton woman on an outstanding warrant.

At about 8pm Tuesday, officers took 30 year old Katie Waters into custody on a Black Hawk County warrant; the original charges were theft 3rd degree and theft 4th degree.

And at about 8:30am Tuesday, Oelwein police arrested 57 year old Michael Vargason of Oelwein, on a charge of violation of a no-contact order.
