Drug Related Arrests and a Burglary in Oelwein

An Oelwein woman has been arrested on illegal drug charges, after officers checked out a suspicious vehicle.

At about 8pm Monday (Dec. 10), Oelwein Police found the car in the 2600 block of Highway 150 South. 25 year old Tara Scott was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana.

Oelwein Police have arrested an area man early this morning (Tuesday, Dec. 11) on a warrant and a drug-related charge. Shortly after 3:30am, Chaz Euans was taken into custody on a Fayette County Sheriff's warrant for Failure to Comply with a Court Order to Appear for Treatment. He was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

And Oelwein Police are investigating a burglary. The break-in was reported just before 10am Monday in the 10 block of 1st Avenue NE. The incident remains under investigation.
