Drug Arrest in Fayette Co. Traffic Stop

An early morning traffic stop in Fayette County has resulted in the arrest of an Iowa City man on drug charges.

Shortly after midnight Tuesday (March 10), a Fayette County Sheriff's deputy pulled over a car for a traffic violation in Oelwein.

After an investigation, 29 year old Quvondrick Mallard of Iowa City was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana, 1st Offense.

Mallard was held in the Fayette County jail in West Union pending his initial court appearance.
