Drug and Other Charges Filed After Disturbance Call

A Westgate man has been arrested on illegal drug and other charges following an investigation in Oelwein.

Just before 3am Tuesday (Nov. 17), Oelwein Police were called to a disturbance in the 100 block of 1st Avenue NE.

The responding police officers arrested 46 year old Jason Hallock of Westgate, on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine-3rd Offense and 3rd Degree Burglary, both felonies. Hallock was also charged with Interference with Official Acts, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Public Intoxication, all three of the charges are simple misdemeanors.
