Driver Hits Deer Near Nashua, and Rolls Vehicle into a Ditch

The Bremer County Sheriff was called out Thursday evening, to a rollover accident, involving a deer.

It happened Thursday (Nov. 15) shortly after 5:30pm in the 1900 Block of Highway 218, just west of Nashua.

45 year old Klinton Kraft of Atlanta, Georgia was driving south on Highway 218, when a deer ran out onto the road. The vehicle struck the deer, then went into a ditch, where it rolled over.

There was extensive damage to Kraft's 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. No injuries were reported.
