Driver Cited in 2 Vehicle Accident in Ridgeway

Winneshiek County authorities are citing a Ridgeway woman, with causing a two vehicle accident in her hometown early this morning (Friday, Dec. 7).

Shortly after 5:30am, at the intersection of Highway 9 and Main Street in Ridgeway, a car driven by 37 year old Amanda Olson of Ridgeway, pulled out from a stop sign onto the highway, and was struck by a car driven by 40 year old Brandi Dixon of Ossian. The two collided. No one was injured.

Olson was charged with Failure to Obey a Stop Sign, and Failing to Yield the Right of Way.

Damages were estimated at $9,000.
