A Northeast Iowa motorist is being charged with causing a firy one-vehicle accident in Winneshiek County.


It happened at about 12m Wednesday (Jan. 31) on Conover Road, east of Spillville.
20 year old Duncan Glock of Calmar was driving west, when he lost control and drove into the ditch. Glock's car then hit a fence, rolled, and struck two trailers that were parked in the yard of a farm residence.

Glock's 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt then caught on fire.

Glock was taken to the Decorah hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

He is being charged with Operating Under the Influence, and Failure to Maintain Control.

The accident was investigated by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office.
