Domestic Disturbance Puts Westgate Man in Jail

Authorities have arrested a Westgate man on an assault charge.

At about 12:30am Thursday (June 24), the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call, reporting a domestic disturbance at a residence on Pearl Street in Westgate.

Responding deputies placed 30 year old Bryce Kugel under arrest, charging him with Domestic Abuse Assault-Impeding the flow of air, and Child Endangerment.

Kugel was held in the Fayette County jail until his court appearance.

A McGregor man, 30 year old Albert Scroggins, was arrested following a recent traffic stop by Fayette County deputies.

At about 5am June 23rd, Scroggins was arrested on a charge of Driving While his License is Barred. He was held pending his initial court appearance.
