Domestic Assault Puts Hawkeye Man in Jail

A Northeast Iowa man has been jailed in a domestic abuse case.

At about 7:30pm Thursday (April 26) the Fayette County Sheriff received a report of an assault in Hawkeye.

A responding deputy arrested 35 year old Adam McCartney of Hawkeye, on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault.

He was held in the county jail until an appearance with a magistrate.
