Domestic Abuse Call Turns To Attempted Murder

A Northeast Iowa woman faces attempted murder charges from a domestic assault earlier this week.

Charles City Police were called out Tuesday (Nov. 6) to a home in the 1600 block of Salzer Street in Charles City.

44 year old Jennifer Bean of Charles City was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault, and Interruption of Emergency Communications.

After officers obtained a search warrant, and a subsequent investigation, Bean was also charged with Attempted Murder.

No other details were released, other than Bean is being held in the Floyd County jail on $26,300 bond.
