Disturbance in Oelwein Puts Local Man in Jail

A local man has been taken into custody after an assault incident in Oelwein last night (Monday, Nov. 27).

Oelwein Police were notified of a disturbance shortly after 6pm Monday, in the 100 block of 1st Avenue NW.

29 year old Nathan Williams of Oelwein was arrested on a charge of Domestic Assault, which is a Simple Misdemeanor.

Other information on the assault was not released.
