Deer Crashes into Car Near Sumner

A Sumner man is ok, but his car didn't fare so well, after colliding with a deer late last (Wednesday) night.

The accident happened at about 11:30pm on "Y" Avenue near Sumner.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, a car driven by 27 year old Justin Schares struck a deer that entered the roadway.

Schares was not hurt, but his 2010 Chevy Impala had $3,000 damage.
