Deer Causes Lots of Damage to Local Man’s Car

Crashing into a deer caused extensive damage to an Elgin motorist's car in rural Fayette County.
The accident happened just before 9:30pm Tuesday (May 17) just south of the city of Fayette, near the intersection of Kornhill Road and 128th Street.

A westbound car driven by 25 year old Cody Lenth struck a deer that was in the process of crossing the road.

Lenth was not hurt, but according to the Fayette County Sheriff, there was considerable damage to the front and right side of the 2007 Chrysler 300.
