Deadly 2 Vehicle Accident Near Dyersville Under Investigation

Authorities have released the name of a Northeast Iowa woman, who died in a two-vehicle accident in Dubuque County Tuesday morning.

80 year old Mary Moss of Dubuque was a passenger in a car driven by 83 year old Kenneth Moss of Dyersville. It was not known how the 2 are related.

According to authorities, Kenneth Moss was driving east in the westbound lanes of Highway 20 near Dyersville, and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by 21 year old Logan Eigenburger of Dubuque.

Mary Moss was taken to University Hospitals in Iowa City, where she was pronounced dead. The two drivers were transported to Mercy Hospital in Dubuque for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The accident is still under investigation by the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office.
