It was the second time for Beydoun to wear a Black Hawks sweater against is former team on their home ice. Beydoun was a member of the Force for two seasons before joining Waterloo this summer. He stonewalled his former Fargo teammates for his sixth shutout of the 2016/17 United States Hockey League season (regular season & postseason combine), and second against the Force.

The Black Hawks now await their second round opponent after winning the best-of-five series. Waterloo will meet either the Sioux City Musketeers or Des Moines Buccaneers. Sioux City leads that series two-games-to-none; their next matchup is Friday at Buccaneer Arena.

No games are on the 2017 USHL Clark Cup Playoffs docket tonight (WED, APR 19). The Dubuque Fighting Saints (2-0-0-0) look to put away the Muskegon Lumberjacks (0-2-0-0) on Thursday. If Muskegon wins, the two teams will meet up again Friday night.

The Chicago Steel (2-0-0-0) and the Sioux City Musketeers (2-0-0-0) both look to complete the sweep of their respective series on Friday evening. Chicago travels to play the Youngstown Phantoms (0-2-0-0), and Sioux City hits the road for a game against the Des Moines Buccaneers (0-2-0-0).
