On Sunday, Bailey Conger scored the overtime game-winning goal to lift the Waterloo Black Hawks over an Sioux City Musketeers. It was the team's third win of the weekend.

The Black Hawks remained hot as they have now earned 11 of 12 standing points in their last six games, and they are the hottest time in the United States Hockey League's Western Conference (7-1-1-1), and Sunday's win edged them close to Musketeers for the top spot in the West.

Sioux City continues to lead all teams in the USHL Western Conference with 51 standing points (37 games played). Waterloo is now just two points back with 49 (38 games). The Fargo Force (38 games) and the Des Moines Buccaneers (37 games) are tied for third at 46 points.

The Eastern Conference's Chicago Steel lead the battle for the Anderson Cup (awarded to the best team during the regular season). Chicago has earned 54 standing points (37 games). The Dubuque Fighting Saints are second in both the East and tied with Sioux CIty in the Anderson Cup race with 51 points (37 games). The Muskegon Lumberjacks are third (49 points, 38 games), and the Youngstown Phantoms are fourth (47 points, 39 games) respectively in the Eastern Conference standings.
