2020-21 Iowa High School Boys Basketball Rankings – Poll 7
Here is the latest Iowa High School boys basketball rankings, released Monday afternoon by the Associated Press.
Four teams from the Cedar Valley and northeast Iowa are featured in the seventh poll of the season.
For the third-straight week, Cedar Falls (9-0) owns the top spot in Class 4A. The unbeaten Tigers earned seven of the nine first-place votes.
The other rated teams from the region compete in the North Iowa Cedar League. They are all East Division rivals.
Dike-New Hartford (12-2) fell three spots to No. 5, after being ranked as high as No. 2 last week. There was no movement involving Denver and Wapsie Valley. The Cyclones (12-2) kept the No. 8 ranking in Class 2A abd Wapsie Valley (11-2) is featured at No. 10 in the Class 1A survey for the second-straight week.
Five other area teams are on the brink of cracking the top 10. Dunkerton, Edgewood-Colesburg, Janesville (all Class 1A), Aplington-Parkersburg and North Fayette Valley (both Class 2A) were among the teams that received votes.
