There's been another delay for the next court hearing for "Bachelor" star Chris Soules of Arlington.

Soules is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident, in connection with a deadly April 24th crash in Northeast Iowa.

Just before 8:30pm that night, Soules' pickup ran into the back of a farm tractor driven by a neighbor, Kenny Mosher, of rural Aurora. The impact pushed both vehicles into the ditch; Mosher was taken to the Oelwein hospital where he died from his injuries.

Buchanan County authorities contend that Soules left the scene before authorities arrived. A 911 call indicates Soules did phone emergency personnel, identified himself, and attempted first aid. He then left in another vehicle.

Soules' attorney claims his actions were reasonable enough to drop the Buchanan County charge, and filed for a motion to dismiss.

Prosecutors, however, claimed the motion is premature.

Authorities found containers of alcoholic beverages at the scene, in Soules' truck. After he left, Soules was arrested at his residence several hours later. Authorities have taken blood and urine samples for the investigation, and so far, no charges have been filed in connection with the accident. He is also required to wear an ankle GPS device.

Soules was last scheduled for a preliminary court hearing on Tuesday, May 9th, but that has been postponed until Wednesday, May 10th.
