Police in Clarksville have arrested a Mason City man, after drugs were found in his vehicle during a traffic stop.


According to the Clarksville Police Department, officers pulled over a vehicle on March 13th. A search warrant was obtained, and police found marijuana, a scale to measure illegal drugs, and 5 grams of pure methamphetamine.

The driver, 44 year old Charles Barnish, was taken into custody, and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Marijuana-Enhanced, Use of a Motor Vehicle to Deliver Controlled Substances (Prohibited Acts), Driving While Suspended, and Failure to have Proof of Insurance.

The Butler County Sheriff assisted Clarksville Police.
