Citations Issued in Traffic Accident Plus Incident

The Oelwein Police Department reports investigating an accident Thursday night (July 7), and an unrelated incident Wednesday night (July 6).
Oelwein Police were called out Thursday night to a traffic accident in the 100 block of 2nd Street SE.

A car driven by David Perry, collided with a car driven by Jade Nuehring. No injuries were reported. During the investigation, Perry was cited for failure to provide security against liability, and operating a non-registered vehicle.

The Iowa State Patrol assisted Oelwein Police.

And shortly after 9pm Wednesday, officers were dispatched to an incident in the 300 block of East Charles.

37 year old Christopher Morris of Oelwein was cited for driving while his license is suspended, then released.
