Charles City Police Solve Burglary, Recover Stolen Tools

During an investigation into a burglary, Charles City Police have recovered stolen tools.

On Thursday morning, Charles City Police received a report of a burglary in the 600 block of 8th Avenue, that happened overnight.

Officers executed a search warrant for a residence in the 100 block of Baldwin Street at about 11am, and the stolen tools were recovered.

Police also seized drug-related items.

The investigation continues and charges are pending.

The Floyd County Sheriff assisted the Charles City Police Department.
