The Fayette County Sheriff continues to investigate an accident involving an all-terrain-vehicle that happened just over a week ago.

Just before 4:30pm Sunday, July 3rd, officers were called to a rural Elgin property, the site of a four-wheeler accident.

52 year old Joseph Daughton of Clermont was riding his vehicle, with a passenger, up a steep incline, when it rolled over backward, on top of him.

The passenger was not hurt, but Daughton had to be taken to Palmer Hospital in West Union, by the Fayette Ambulance.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, the incident is still under investigation, and charges are pending.
