Authorities Investigate Drugs at a Motel in Charles City

Authorities in Floyd County and Charles City are continuing to investigate the discovery of narcotics at a motel in Charles City.

At about 10:45pm Sunday, Charles City Police and the Floyd County Sheriff executed a search warrant at a motel room, located in the 1400 block of Gilbert Street.

There was no one in the room when officers entered it.

The investigation continues, with multiple charges pending.
