Assault, Drug Warrant, and Traffic Violation in Oelwein

Oelwein Police have arrested a man for assault, a woman on a drug warrant, and cited a local man for a traffic violation.
At about 11:30am Monday (June 20), officers responded to the report of an incident in the 700 block of 2nd Avenue NE in Oelwein. 26 year old Skylar Buhr was taken into custody for enhanced domestic assault.

Monday afternoon, 26 year old Natasha Coonradt of Calmar was arrested on a Winneshiek County warrant for the original charges of possession of a controlled substance-2nd offense, assault on persons in certain occupations, and unlawful possession of prescription drugs. Coonradt was also charged by Oelwein police with theft 5th degree and interference with official acts.

And shortly after 8pm Monday, authorities received a driving complaint in the 100 block of 1st Avenue NW. Oelwein Police located the vehicle in question, and the driver, 54 year old David Perry of Hazleton, was cited for reckless driving.
