Two people have been arrested for allegedly burglarizing the Oelwein Chamber and Area Development office.


30 year old Krystle Schoultz of Oelwein and 27 year old Robert Rinella Jr. of Hazleton, face charges of Burglary 3rd Degree, for the July 27th incident

The two are accused of breaking into the Oelwein Chamber office on West Charles Street, and taking $450 in Oelwein Dollars, a money box, two money bags, and gift cards.

The incident was captured on security video.

Schoultz was taken into custody on August 20th, while Rinella was arrested on August 25th. Both have been released, pending a trial.

Schoultz was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, for a substance found in her purse.

Rinella faces additional charges of giving police False Identification, and Interference with Official Acts.
