After an investigation, 49 year old Dawn Cole was arrested on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury-1st Offense.

The investigation also revealed that 58 year old Ray Steege had a valid Fayette County warrant for Failure to Appear. The original charge was Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Early Wednesday evening, deputies were called out to a residence in rural Arlington, on the report of an assault. Deputies searched for Recker, and found him hiding inside a building on the property. The Iowa State Patrol assisted the Fayette County Sheriff.
And at about 12:30am today (Friday), the sheriff was notified of a traffic accident involving a deer. It happened on Nature Road and Oak Road, south of St. Lucas. 20 year old Jessica Ling of Sumner was driving an SUV eastbound, when a deer ran out onto the road.
