Authorities have arrested a Waverly man for allegedly breaking into several area businesses.


On Tuesday (May 26), the Bremer County Sheriff's Office received a report of a burglary at the Farmers Win Coop in Bremer.
Apparently similar burglaries also occurred in Butler County, over the Memorial Day Weekend.

Both the Bremer and Butler County Sheriff's Offices, with the assistance of the Waverly Police Department, executed a search warrant Wednesday at a residence in Waverly, at 818 5th Street NW. Authorities found items related to the break in's during the search.

As a result, 23 year old Dylan Jones of Waverly was taken into custody and charged with 3rd Degree Burglary and 2nd Degree Theft. The charges were in connection to the Farmers Win break-in.
