
Arrest in Oelwein Vehicle Theft
An Oelwein man has been arrested for allegedly taking someone else's vehicle without their permission.
Shortly after 1:30pm Wednesday (March 10), Oelwein Police received a report that a vehicle was taken from the 100 block of South Frederick.

The vehicle was recovered about an hour later, at about 2:30pm.
As a result of the investigation, 37 year old Kurtis Shasteen of Oelwein was taken into custody on a charge of Operating Without Getting the Owner's Consent.
The charge is an Aggravated Misdemeanor.
