Arrest for Violating the Prescription Drug Laws
A Northeast Iowa woman living at the West Union Residential Facility, has now been charged with a prescription drug violation.
At about 7:45am Wednesday (Sept. 25), the Fayette County Sheriff arrested 37 year old Tara Ann Bohr. She was found to be in possession of prescription medication for which she did not have a valid prescription. Bohr was taken to the Fayette County jail, charged with Possession of Contraband in a Correctional facility. She was incarcerated until her appearance with a magistrate.
The Fayette County Sheriff responded to a traffic accident early Wednesday. Authorities were notified of the accident, which happened on Major Road, about four miles west of Eldorado. 21 year old James Hill of West Union was driving west, when he struck a large tree that was in the traveled portion of the roadway. No one was injured, but Hill's Pontiac Bonneville had $1500 in damage.
The sheriff was also called to an accident involving a deer. This was reported just before 8:30pm Tuesday, on "Y" Avenue. 19 year old Trevor Bock of Sumner, was driving north when a deer ran out onto the road in Hill's path. No injuries were reported, but there was $2600 in damage to Hill's 2005 Ford Focus.
