Arrest for Assault at a Treatment Facility

A resident of a Northeast Iowa treatment center has been arrested on an assault charge.

The Fayette County Sheriff received 911 call on Tuesday (March 17) concerning an alleged assault at the Prairie View Residential Facility.

An investigation determined that 36 year old Audrey Crawford, who had been living there, assaulted another resident.
The investigation also revealed that Crawford had a valid arrest warrant from Pottawattamie County, for failure to appear in court for the charge of Assault Causing Bodily Injury or Mental Illness.

Crawford was held on a $2,000 bond, and was to be extradited back to Pottawattamie County.
