Armed Man Arrested for Threatening Hunters
A West Union man has been booked into the county jail, for allegedly threatening two hunters with a gun.
Just before 5:30pm Saturday (Sept. 19), the Fayette County Sheriff received a 911 call from 2 people hunting near the 24,000 block of Rose Road, between Hawkeye and St. Lucas. They reported that a man had pulled up in a vehicle with a firearm, and made threatening comments to them.
After conducting several interviews, the Fayette County Sheriff arrested 61 year old Thomas Heyer of West Union for Going Armed with Intent, 2 Counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and 2 counts of Harassment-1st Degree.
Heyer was arrested without further incident, and held in the Fayette County jail.
