Area Woman Hurt When Her Vehicle Collides with a Deer
A Northeast Iowa woman has been injured in a traffic accident involving a deer.
The Fayette County Sheriff was called just before 6am Tuesday (May 8) to the accident scene, on "D" Avenue and 90th Street, a mile north of Arlington.
A vehicle driven by 58 year old Doric Coan of Wadena was traveling south, when she struck the deer in the roadway.
Coan sustained minor injuries; she was treated and released at the scene.
Her 2018 Subaru Outback had $5,000 in damage.
The Arlington Fire Department and Arlington Ambulance assisted the Fayette County Sheriff.
