Area Woman Hurt Bad in Rural Winneshiek Rollover

A Northeast Iowa woman has been seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident in Winneshiek County.

It happened just before 3am Sunday (March 18) on Wagon Road, in Canoe Township. A vehicle driven by 53 year old Debra Bohr of Decorah was eastbound, when she lost control on a curve.

The vehicle entered the ditch, which had a significant drop off, causing the car to roll over.

Bohr sustained serious injuries; she was taken to an area hospital for treatment. A condition report was not available.

Her 2007 Nissan Murano had $8,000 in damage.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff is investigating, and charges may be forthcoming.
