Area Woman Dies in SUV Accident Near Solon

A Northeast Iowa woman has died in a one-vehicle traffic accident.

It happened at about 10:30pm Tuesday (Aug. 8) on Highway 1, in Johnson County, north of Solon.

A southbound SUV driven by 35 year old Tiffany Beckles of Charles City, left the road, entered the ditch, struck a D.O.T. sign, then rolled.

Beckles was killed in the accident, which is under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
