A West Union woman faces some serious drug charges, after being pulled over in Clayton County last week.

At about 2:45pm Wednesday (Feb. 12), the Clayton County Sheriff pulled over a vehicle on Gunder Road near 190th Street, southeast of Gunder.

The driver was identified as 32 year old Summer Luster of West Union.

During the investigation, the Prairie du Chien Police Department's K-9, Rico, assisted in searching the vehicle. Rico indicated the presence of a controlled substance.

The vehicle was then towed to the Clayton County Sheriff's Office near Elkader, where a search uncovered 29 grams of Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and about $4,000 in cash, suspected to be used in drug deals.

Luster was then charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver.
If convicted, Luster faces a possible 25 years in prison.
