Area Woman Arrested After Crashing into Bridge

A Northeast Iowa woman has been arrested, after crashing her car into a bridge.

The Fayette County Sheriff received a report of the accident just before 1:30am Saturday (April 6). It happened in the 19,000 block of 250th Street, about 4 miles north of Hawkeye.

A car driven by 27 year old Miranda Busarow of Spillville, went out of control and hit the bridge. Her 1996 Ford Thunderbird had $1,500 in damage, but she was not hurt.

Responding officers determined Busarow was driving drunk; she was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated-3rd Offense, and Public Intoxication. Busarow was jailed on a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
