Area Men Arrested in Fayette County…

Fayette County authorities have arrested an Oelwein man on a probation violation.

At about 9:30pm Monday, deputies took 24 year old Miguel Sanchez into custody. The original charge was public intoxication, second offense. Sanchez's bond was set at $1,500, and he is being held in the Fayette County Jail in West Union.

An Arlington man has been arrested on a Fayette County warrant.
On Monday, the county sheriff's office arrested 32 year old Brent Brewer on the original charges of domestic abuse, false imprisonment, and obstruction of an emergency call. Brewer was taken to the Fayette County jail, where he will be held until his initial court appearance.
