Area Men Arrested in Fayette County on Various Charges

The Fayette County Sheriff reports that 3 area men have been arrested on various charges.

On Monday (Feb. 24), 32 year old Andrew Lien of Oelwein was taken into custody on a Fayette County warrant for a Mittimus-Failure to Serve 7 Days in Jail, in reference to a previous charge of Driving While his License is Barred. He will now serve out his sentence in the jail in West Union.

On Saturday, 48 year old Dennis Boone Jr. of Cedar Rapids was arrested on a Fayette County warrant for a Probation Violation, regarding an original charge of OWI-1st Offense. Boone was held on $1,000 cash only bond.

And early Saturday, a Fayette County deputy pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation. After an investigation, 57 year old David Fox of Sumner was charged with Operating While Intoxicated-1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
